Wallet is not synchronizing
Hi admin, I am having problems with my BRO coin wallet...been trying to synchronize it for 2 days now but to no avail? did you upgrade the wallet? this is the version i'm currently using v188.8.131.52-61402. hope for your reply asap. thanks!
follow the guide what posted there.
@joao followed the instructions, but i lost all my BRO coins....and the wallet time resetted to 37weeks behind...this is a crappy instruction dude! Sucks!
How do i fix this error?
First of all if you backup your wallet.dat, you don't lose your $BRO.
Check here your balance whith your adress: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bro/ your $BRO still there.
OK, let fix it!
- Close bitradio client. Be sure it's closed. Backup wallet.dat to another location.
- Delete all files, under ../Roaming/Bitradio/ except wallet.dat and backups folder.
- Download peers.dat (http://wikisend.com/download/565760/peers.zip and extract it there)
- Open bitradio and wait 1 or 2 days to syncrhonize
It should work. Your balance don't appear in your wallet until your wallet is not sync
hi joao, would you or anyone else know how to synchronize and backup my wallet on for mac? thank you
edit: first try this: http://forum.bitrad.io/topic/821/if-you-have-problems-with-sync-the-wallet-read-here/76
hi @jaywang1230 ,
I do not use Mac, but for sure same steps are valid. This steps are valid in a raspberry ( linux ) so i think it should work.
For backup you wallet, just save the file wallet.dat. Copy it in a pendrive, desktop, or another location.
Bitradio files should be under ~/Library/Application Support/Bitradio/
For synchronize, follow the steps described, delete all except wallet.dat, download peers.dat and extract it under Bitradio folder, and launch bitradio wallet.
keep me informed, good luck!
@bren_bulatao it's solved?
@joao after 2 days finally it synchronized already, yeah you're right BRO coin still there, thanks a lot dude! double thumbs up!
@bren_bulatao Fantastic! : D
thanks for all your help @joao but i don't have a Bitradio folder in this directory: ~/Library/Application Support. instead i deleted my old wallet (that was never synchronized), reinstalled it and now it works! BRO transfers are pending too.
FYI i still don't see a Bitradio folder in my ~/Library/Application Support directory. perhaps this has to do with my mac setup rather than windows/linux. i hope this helps others.
still many thanks again @joao!
Just for know, where was allocated your bitradio files?
